Photo: bdnews24.comBangladesh has registered a single new death from COVID-19 in a day, the lowest daily count since May 5, 2020, taking the total toll to 27,891. The COVID-19 caseload rose to 1,570,835 as 154 people tested positive for the disease in the 24 hours to 8:00 am on Saturday, according to the latest government data, reports bdnews24.com. As many as 13,072 samples were tested across the country, for a positivity rate of 1.18 per cent. The latest figures put the recovery rate at 97.7 per cent and the mortality rate at 1.78 per cent.
