DHAKA, Jan 10, 2024 (BSS) - Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen today said Bangladesh has proved that it's a democratic country by holding a free, fare, transparent, credible an violence-free elections. "Wining by peoples votes Awami League showed that Bangladesh is a country of democracy, justice and human rights ... The foreign minister was speaking at a discussion marking Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's Homecoming Day at the foreign ministry here. State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam and Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen also spoke on the occasion. Paying tributes to Bangabandhu, Momen said his dynamic and charismatic leadership brought many achievements within a very short time for the independent Bangladesh.
