India said Bangladesh parliamentary election will be held as per provision of the Constitution. Arindam Bagchi, Spokesperson of Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) of India, expressed the view of the government at weekly press conference at New Delhi on Friday. Asked about a Delhi based national daily’s report that Army may plunge into the political arena, he said “This is mere speculation. In 2011, Awami League government abolished the caretaker government through the 15th amendment to the Constitution. Earlier, the Supreme Court in a judgment declared the caretaker government system illegal.
