The Rapid Action Battalion or RAB arrested Enamul Haque, a PhD student of a South Korean university, on Saturday. The RAB said Enamul, an operative of the Jamaat-e-Islami’s student front Islami Chhatra Shibir, ran at least 22 such fake websites and used to donate most of the money from the sites to the organisation's fund. Enamul sought bail but the judge rejected his plea, court police’s Inspector Md Asaduzzaman told bdnews24.com. File PhotoAccording to case dossier, Enamul published the fake news by counterfeiting websites to belittle the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, and members of her cabinet.
