The government’s Upazila Governance Project (UZGP) on Tuesday said they would launch the “Red Card Campaign” on Wednesday to raise awareness about the menace and prevent them. The project has prepared a ‘red card’ with slogans against early marriage and sexual harassment. The project will cover some 195 high schools under 65 Upazilas of seven selected districts – Kishoreganj, Brahmanbarhia, Sirajganj, Khulna, Barguna, Sunamganj and Rangpur. Officials are expecting to mobilise around 150,000 high school students, teachers, guardians and community people to fight those issues. The campaign will launched from Jamtoil Dhopakandi Girls’ High School in Kamarkandi Upazila in Sirajganj district.
