The pair, both with centuries to their name, carried Bangladesh to 391 for four at the interval. It's also the best by Bangladesh batsmen against New Zealand. By tea, Bangladesh were 17 runs shy of their best total in New Zealand, the 408 at Hamilton in 2010. Shakib also passed 3000 test runs at 71.
