The Group B match gets underway at 7pm, Bangladesh standard time. Ahead of their opening match, the men in red and green arrived in Manama, capital of Bahrain, at 1am in the early hours of Thursday night. The team have been accommodated at Elite Resorts and Spa Hotel in Manama where they will stay during the whole competition. Prior to their arrival in Bahrain, the Bangladesh team underwent a 10-day conditional camp in Qatar, where they also played two practice matches. Bangladesh won one and drew the other warm-up match.
