Bangladesh Consulate General in New York said the six-member delegation would also visit Mexico to explore the market. The Consulate General organised an interactive meeting at the Chancery on Friday attended by leading Bangladeshi-American businessmen along with community leaders based in New York. The minister briefed the business leaders about the policy priority of the present government to expand the market of jute products. He said Bangladeshi jute products were of international standard. Aktar Hossain and Officers from the Ministry and Consulate General were present, among others.
