The selectors left out pacer Shafiul Islam when they announced a 15-strong squad on Monday evening for the Mirpur Test. Mosaddek HossainShafiul bowled just 12 overs in two innings in the first Test. Pacer Kamrul Islam Rabbi, who earned his first Test cap in the opening Test, retained his spot in the team. He gave away 41 runs from eight overs in the first innings but did well with the old ball in the second innings. The second Test begins on Friday at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
