A victory is must for Bangladesh youngsters in this match to keep their semifinal hopes alive. Despite losing opener Zawad Abrar for 6, Bangladesh got going well, thanks to Rifat Beg and captain Azizul Hakim Tamim. However, the rot began after England bowler Farhan Ahmed broke through with the wicket of Rifat, ending 46-run partnership for the second wicket. Rifat Beg who made 31, eventually became the highest-scorer for Bangladesh.
