Railway Ministry Secretary Mofazzel Hossain has confirmed the decision to the Dhaka Tribune on Thursday. “The luggage van service will resume on the three routes, including Dhaka-Chittagong, Dhaka-Jamalpur-Dewanganj and Dhaka-Jessore-Khulna.”However, the decision to resume passenger train service is yet to be taken. On March 25, BR suspended train operation across the country after the government announced public holiday. However, freight train remained operational amid the holidays.
