His comment came at a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina who is now in Sweden on a three-day visit to the Scandinavian country. Foreign Secretary Shahidul Haque and PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim later briefed the media entourage visiting with the prime minister. “It’s opened the next phase of our relations,” Stefan told Hasina during the bilateral meeting, according to Haque. The foreign secretary told journalists that the Swedish premier identified a number of areas of co-operations with energy on top of the list. They have discussed the issue at length on how Sweden can help Bangladesh attain energy efficiency,” Haque added.
