Secretary General of the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dato’ Ramlan Ibrahim met with Bangladesh Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali on Tuesday at the minister’s office. Ibrahim is visiting Bangladesh for the first bilateral consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Malaysia and Bangladesh, a Foreign Ministry press release said. During the meeting, he briefed foreign minister on the outcome of the bilateral consultations held on Tuesday. Foreign Minister Mahmood Ali stressed on the need for maintaining transparency in the system. Dato’ Ramlan Ibrahim informed the foreign minister that Malaysia has been offering training to civilians and law enforcers from Bangladesh and would continue this.
