Delegates at the Bangladesh-German Negotiations on Development Cooperation on Monday CourtesyBoth the delegations had an open and fruitful exchange of views on ongoing projects and programs in the field of Financial and Technical Cooperation (FC and TC) as well as on future development cooperationBilateral negotiations on development and cooperation between the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany, has been held. Ministry of Finance Europe Wing Economic Relations Division Additional Secretary Md Khalilur Rahman represented the Bangladesh Government while Dr Wolfram Klein, head of South Asia Division in the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development led the German delegation. Both the delegations had an open and fruitful exchange of views on ongoing projects and programs in the field of Financial and Technical Cooperation (FC and TC) as well as on future development cooperation. As a result of the negotiations, commitments for the following sectors of Bangladesh-German mutual Cooperation were made worth €285.3 million. During the negotiations, Germany announced further assistance in the amount of €29m to Rohingya and host communities.
