Bangladesh Cricket Board is relieved that the Tigers' future in Test cricket is 'not heading for uncertainty'. The game's governing body withdrew the proposal in an ICC meeting in Dubai on Wednesday. "The two-tier Test system proposal... has been taken off the table keeping in mind the objections raised by four members," India’s national news agency PTI quoted the ICC as saying. "This is indeed great news," BCB President Nazmul Hassan said in the evening, "We were convinced it won't be something good. Hassan believes the BCCI's stand against the proposal was a determining factor for the withdrawal.
