Md Omar Faruk, joint secretary, youth and sports, who is the chief election commissioner, said on Thursday voting will take place on Oct 31. The election commission will publish a draft list of voters next Monday and the final list on the following day. It will distribute the nomination papers on Oct 20. The deadline for submitting the nomination papers is Oct 24 and for withdrawal it is Oct 29. The election commission was formed at the last meeting of the board on Oct 5.
