Bangladesh’s first submarines commissioned


Two submarines have been added to the fleet of Bangladesh Navy for the first time. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina officially commissioned the two submarines –“Nabajatra” and “Joyjatra”– made by China around 12:01pm on Sunday. With the addition of the submarines, Bangladesh Navy for the first time can be considered a “three-dimensional force”.
