Bangabandhu killer’s relative tried to supply arms to militants

Two suspected militants who were arrested in Ashulia on Sunday night were actually IED material suppliers for militant groups, said RAB sources. The RAB media wing chief, however, hypothesised that the relative of Bangabandhu’s killer was possibly trying to destabilise the country by funding militancy. According to RAB, Imran joined Harkat-ul Jihad al-Islami Bangladesh (HujiB) in 2001. According to RAB media chief Mufti, Rafiqul’s second wife had been arrested by RAB earlier. He added that RAB was currently engaged in locating the Chittagong militant camps.
