The Embassy of Bangladesh in Tokyo published the speech, which was delivered by Bangabandhu at the then Race-Course Ground in 1971. The speech was translated in Japanese as the first foreign language after English, said a statement issued in this regard. On 29 May, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina launched and unwrap the booklet of Japanese edition of the speech while visiting Japan. Bangabandhu's “Unfinished memoir” and a graphic novel “Mujib” were also translated into Japanese as the first foreign language after English.
