"The government is going to construct the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib International Airport to turn Bangladesh into an aviation hub," he said at a meeting with the Civil Aviation Authority officials in Dhaka's Kurmitola. "It will be a modern airport," the state minister said, reports UNB. The government has already started constructing the third terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, he said adding they are also upgrading the Cox's Bazar airport, and implementing mega projects for the Sylhet International Airport's development. "Preparations are complete to upgrade the Shahjalal airport to the number one category.
