A grand opening ceremony with the participation of both local and Bollywood stars will be held at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka Sunday. The tournament proper, with the participation of seven teams, will however, roll on the field Wednesday at the home of cricket. It is understood that the overseas players will start reporting to their teams from Sunday onwards. The program has been set in two parts with Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina scheduled to officially declare the BBPL T20 open at around 7pm. BCB CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury and Beximco Communications Limited CEO Faisal Hyder were present at the logo unveiling ceremony.
