Enyioha Opara, MinnaBarley one month of respite kidnapping and banditry have again resurfaced in Niger State as 16 people have been abducted in Magani and Tungan-Bako communities of Rafi Local Government Area of the state. The Punch gathered that the kidnappers, numbering over 21, stormed the communities on motorcycles and shooting sporadically to instill fears into the people. The Director General of the Niger State Emergency Management Agency Ibrahim Ahmed Inga, confirmed the story but did not give details. Efforts to get Police Public Relations Officer the Niger State Police Command Wasiu Abiodun, was abortive.
