The win saw Bandari dislodge champions Gor Mahia from the top of the standings. The Dockers are now on 47 points, three ahead of Gor, who play Kakamega Homeboyz on Friday. The Congolese import was on fire scoring the match opener in the 30th minute when he connected with a powerful header from Shaban Kenga's well weighted cross as Bandari led 1-0 at the break. The bankers pulled one back three minutes from time via a penalty by second half substitute Ezekiel Omulo, who sent Bandari keeper Farouk Shikalo the wrong way, after a Bandari defender handled in the box.
