A fire has broken out at Bangladesh Forest Department building, also known as Ban Bhaban. The fire originated at 10:50am Monday on the fourth floor of the seven-storied building, Fire Service Headquarters’ duty officer Mizanur Rahman told Dhaka Tribune. Four fire engines rushed to the spot and doused the fire around 11:30am, he added. The reason of the fire could not be known yet. No casualties were reported as officials and staff managed to get down safely from the floor immediately after the blaze ignited.
