The Otso Diretso senate bet rose to the 12th spot after garnering 11,001,047 votes based on the Commission on Elections (Comelec) partial and official tally. The Comelec NBOC started to officially canvass the votes for senators and party-list groups, Tuesday at the PICC in Pasay City. The Comelec earlier said that it is eyeing to proclaim the 12 winning senators within two weeks after the midterm polls.
