HYDERABAD: Breaking previous year's bidding price, the popular Balapur Ganesh laddu weighing around 21kg was auctioned for a whopping Rs 14.65 lakh. Finally Skylab Reddy bought the laddu by quoting Rs 14.65 lakh. .Soon after he bought the laddu, he paid the amount of Rs 14.65 lakh on the dais to the Ganesh Utsav Samithi. After Balapur Ganesh laddu set a record, another laddu in KPHB (Sardarpatelnagar) occupied the second place in the auctions. Simultaneously, a laddu in Badangpet fetched Rs 5.41 lakh, another laddu in Sahebnagar at Vanasthalipuram fetched Rs 3.35 lakh, Sevalalnagar in Moosapet at Rs 3.12 lakh and in KPHB -phase-III a laddu fetched Rs 2.11 lakh.
