PUTRAJAYA: China ambassador Bai Tian arrived at the family home of Tan Sri Lee Shin Cheng to pay his last respects. Accompanied by several officials, he arrived at about 9.20am on Thursday (June 6), and was ushered in by family members. Scores of friends and relatives began arriving as early as 8.30am for the funeral of the IOI Group founder and executive chairman. The funeral ceremony and rites will take place at the family home before burial at the Nilai Memorial Park. In March, Lee’s youngest son, IOI Properties Group Bhd CEO Lee Yeow Seng, tied the knot with Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change Minister, Yeo Bee Yin.
