BANGKOK: Debutant Kanta Tsuneyama delivered the winning point against Denmark to take Japan into the Thomas Cup final. The 21-year-old Tsuneyama put up a confident show to beat Jan O Jorgesen 21-18, 21-18 in the deciding match at the Impact Arena on Friday (May 25). The 2014 Thomas Cup champions won the points through Kento Momota and Kenta Nishimoto, who played exceptionally well to blow away Viktor Axelsen and Hans-Kristian Vittinghus respectively. Denmark showed their prowess in doubles to win through scratch pair Mathias Boe-Mads Conrad-Petersen and Kim Astrup-Anders Skaarup Rasmussen. Japan have also made it to the Uber Cup final and take on surprise finalists Thailand on Saturday (May 26).
