Team captain Lee Chong Wei said they were fired up after ending their five-day intensive centralised training programme yesterday at Academy Badminton Malaysia (ABM) on a high spirit. “The suit is sponsored and specially designed,” said Chong Wei, who will skipper the Thomas Cup squad. Others may rule us out but we’re looking forward to giving a good show,” said Chong Wei. On Tuesday, led by juniors Jun Hao and Jin Wei, the team also read out a pledge to give their best in the team event. Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) president Datuk Seri Norza Zakaria also handed over the national flag to Chong Wei and Vivian and urged them to fight all out.
