After helping Selangor take home the gold medal in the girls’ badminton team event on Friday, Thinaah is still unsatisfied and hungry to taste the same success in the individual event. “I really cannot underestimate her (Qi Xuan), she’s a good player and did push me to the limit in the team event,” she said. If Thinaah gets past Qi Xuan, she could face third seed S. Kisona of Negri Sembilan in the semi-finals. “I also defeated Kisona in the team event, but I’ll have to keep up my performance to win again,” added Thinaah.
