PETALING JAYA: The Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) are hoping that their state-of-the-art Academy Badminton Malaysia (ABM) in Bukit Kiara will be fully operational by the first quarter of next year. BAM plan to house their players at the ABM, where they will train full-time. It has 18 courts – the same as at the ABM – and this will enable BAM to house a maximum 200 shuttlers. Two of those coaches will work under Kwan Yoke Meng, who is the head coach for Form Four and Form Five students. For now, we have agreed to take in 16 Form One students, five Form Two students and three Form Three students next year,” said Norza.
