BACOLOD CITY: The Bacolod City Police Office will conduct a selective profiling of the 14 Maranaos confirmed to be staying with their relatives in the city, acting BCPO director and Senior Supt. He said the 14 evacuees from besieged Marawi City, capital of Lanao del Sur province, are staying in Muslim communities in Barangay 30 and Barangay 31. According to Wanky, the profiling will be carried out upon orders of Chief Supt. He, however, added that they cannot determine if the Maranaos are evacuees or refugees. BCPO station commanders have been ordered to continuously coordinate with authorities in villages where there are Muslim evacuees, he added.
