BACOLOD CITY – A Bacolod councilor, who is the son of former Mayor Monico Puentevella, punched his fellow councilor at a Bacolod Sangguniang Panlungsod session Wednesday afternoon. ADVERTISEMENTThe Bacolod Sangguniang Panlungsod excluded Councilor Claudio Puentevella from attending the session yesterday after he punched Councilor Dindo Ramos on the left cheek following an argument over the proposed construction work at the sanitary landfill in Barangay Felisa, Bacolod City. This was the first time that a councilor has punched his fellow councilor. Leonardia said this was a very serious matter and that there was no place for this in Bacolod City. Councilor Puentevella could not be reached for comment.
