At a South Derbyshire District Council meeting this week (Tuesday, April 7), councillors approved plans for a nurse and aesthetics clinic in a wooden garden summerhouse at a detached house in Ironstone Lane, between Stanton and Newhall. The business, which will operate from a house with two parking spaces, will not provide any allocated parking, with visitors parking on the street. The resident claimed there was a customer at the facility at 8.10pm recently and that the services were being advertised online. Councillors approved the plans by seven votes for, five against and one abstention.
