All jokes aside, though, it became apparent early on that lockdown was excruciatingly hard for some people. Partners yelled at each other more. Children couldn’t understand why they couldn’t play at the playground or go to the zoo (my kids’ biggest concerns). Home seems safe now, like a sanctuary, so it’s easier to relax and unwind here than it was before. But thankfulness can turn any frown upside down.
