The Vancouver Canucks are looking at Burnaby 8 Rinks as a regular practice facility yet again. That old Canucks dressing room at 8 Rinks was given to the Vancouver North East Chiefs, a B.C. There is talk the Canucks will one day have a practice facility at the current Plaza of Nations site, which is across the street from Rogers Arena. The Canucks’ practices at 8 Rinks last season included a Jan. 12 stint there, in preparation for a meeting with the Florida Panthers the following day at Rogers Arena. Oddly enough, Canucks centre Bo Horvat told the reporters that day he had never practised at 8 Rinks.
