National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula has called on leaders from Western Kenya to support President William Ruto’s transformation agenda. The National Assembly Speaker noted government's commitment to providing financial assistance for indigent individuals to ensure the most vulnerable members of society can access quality healthcare. He also commended President Ruto's reduction of cost of fertiliser, which benefits farmers in the region and across the country. "The reduction of fertilisers cost from Sh6,000 to Sh2,500 by President Ruto provides an affordable option for farmers," Wetang’ula said. Speaker Wetang'ula remembered Nakitare as a dedicated member of the Ford Kenya Party.
