Baby held by father dies after being flung out of car during accident


JELEBU: A nine-month-old baby girl died after being flung out of her mother's car which was involved in a freak car accident at Kilometer 19.3 Jalan Seremban - Simpang Pertang last night. Jelebu Deputy Chief of Police, Deputy Superintendent Kamarul Rizal Jenal said the accident involving three vehicles took place at 7.30pm. Because of the impact of the accident, Wong Qan Ton, who was at that time being held by her father Wong Ting Sing, 26, was thrown out of the car into the middle of the road," he said. He said the baby was sent to Jelebu Hospital before being referred to Tuanku Jaafar Hospital (HTJ). He said the police are still investigating the incident under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
