Photo: NZMEA 4-month-old baby girl suffered "significant" and multiple fractures to her tiny body at the hands of another person - but family members have closed ranks. Police are appealing for anyone with information to speak up after the baby suffered 16 fractures to her skull, ribs, arms and legs. Oranga Tamariki South Auckland regional manager Jim Wilson confirmed the baby girl was still in the agency's custody. "The baby girl is now in our custody and recovering well with Oranga Tamariki caregivers." If you have information about how this baby girl was injured - on any occasion - please contact the police.
