Diamonds may be forever, but one jewelry brand has aspirations in an entirely different direction. Keef Palas, founded in 2016 by Claire O’Keefe and Eugenia Oliva, features jewelry designed to decay. Its first collection showcased magnolia leaves, olive branches, clusters of immortelle flower buds, dried chiles and garlic cloves, all hanging from brass and silver earring fittings. Since then, the creators have been working with cotton flowers, wheat ears, wisps of oat and baby onions. “They are made to be enjoyed in the moment,” Ms. O’Keefe said of the company’s designs.
