Jennifer Johnson, 54, is accused of giving untrue evidence during the paedophile’s 1987 prosecution, which ended in a controversial acquittal. Bishop was finally brought to justice for the killing of nine-year-old friends Karen Hadaway and Nicola Fellows in 2018. The girls were found sexually assaulted and strangled in a woodland den in Brighton, East Sussex, in October 1986. The court heard she intends to plead not guilty to the two charges and will run a defence of duress. Bishop was found guilty of killing the two girls in December 2018 and sentenced to a minimum 36 years.
