Following BYC FC’s 1-0 defeat against Monrovia Club Breweries over the weekend at the Blue Field, BYC’s head coach Robert Lartey has said he is not under pressure to deliver despite losing his first three points in the 2018 Liberia Football Association First Division league. “I don’t think I am under pressure, because I spent several years with this club and won lots of trophies, so I am not under pressure. I am a relaxed coach, I know what I am capable of doing,” Coach Lartey said. Coach Lartey returned to BYC in May, 2017, replacing former coach Cooper Sannah who was sacked by the club due to what the club termed as ‘poor performance’ during the 2016/2017 national league. He also won the FA Cup with the junior team (BYC II) as head coach, and progressed to the second round of the CAF Confederation Cup during the club’s debut appearance.
