New Delhi: In a relief to the cash-strapped telecom PSU, Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) is set to roll out 4G Services by the end of this financial year, said PK Purwar , CMD, BSNL In a market where the other telcos were able to garner a huge amount of revenue from data-services, non-availability of 4G spectrum for BSNL pushed the company further down. Government is said to allot 4G spectrum to BSNL by the end of this year, said BSNL Chairman and Managing Director P K Purwar. "We expect that BSNL should be able to launch 4G services by the end of this financial year. The plan entails giving suitable package comprising components like voluntary retirement scheme (VRS), 4G spectrum allocation and monetisation of available assets with BSNL. We have a legacy issue, which we are trying to address with a revival package.
