The 34 stolen computers were recovered from Crystal Inn Hotel in Dhaka’s Mohakhali area on Thursday evening. Previously in 2018, and in 2017, 47 and 50 computers respectively got stolen from BSMRSTU but none involved could be identified nor any of it were recovered. With law enforcers and BSMRSTU authorities having failed to identify culprits behind the mysterious computer thefts in 2017 and 2018, 49 computers were once again stolen reportedly within a week from the Central Library of the university this year.
