Airbus India & South Asia President and Managing Director Remi Maillard and BSMRAAU Vice Chancellor (VC) Air Vice-Marshal AHM Fazlul Haque signed the LoA on behalf of their respective organizations on Tuesday. Driven by EASA and Airbus safety parameters, the LoA provides a roadmap for both teams to engage effectively for the establishment of an Approved Training Organization (ATO) and Maintenance Training Organization (MTO) under the Airbus umbrella. Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) Chairman Air Vice Marshal M Mafidur Rahman in his speech assured to provide all necessary support and cooperation for the development of BSMRAAU and the implementation of the LoA signed between BSMRAAU and Airbus. The deputy minister also said the efforts of BSMRAAU will not be limited, instead expanding through research and industrial collaboration. On November 29, BSMRAAU signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Airbus India to modernize Bangladesh’s aviation industry.
