"A vested quarter is spreading rumour about the salt crisis only to mislead people," he told Dhaka Tribune on Tuesday. The president of BSMOA added: "At present, there is more than optimum amount of salt for the whole country. Moreover, the locally produced salt will hit the market within 10-15 days. "So, there is no chance of a salt crisis,” he said.
