Biswa Sahitya Kendra (BSK) and Grameenphone jointly bestowed prizes to 6,313 students of Chittagong division Friday in recognition of their excellence in reading books. Nearly 17,000 students from 81 schools in the division participated in the “Book Reading Competition” last year. Founder and President of BSK Abdullah Abu Sayeed and Circle Business Head of Grameenphone in Chittagong Shaon Azad were in attendance. We need to ignite that through reading books.”Under its country-based excellence programme, the BSK has held the “Book Reading Competition” in nearly 2,000 educational institutions across Bangladesh. The students in Khulna division will be given awards on March 24.
