The incident took place at Gopal Nagar in west Tripura on Sunday. Following the incident, BGB and BSF on Wednesday conducted a flag meeting in regards to the handover of the dead Bangladeshi national. However, when BSF suggested the handover of the deceased’s body without the autopsy report the meeting came to an abrupt end without a resolution. So, we were reluctant to receive his body without the autopsy report, causing a delay in the handover of his body.
