Two NGOs have taken responsibility of the returned BangladeshisThe Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has returned 27 Bangladeshi women and children, who were trafficked to India through various border points. India's Petrapole port’s BSF unit handed them over to Benapole port’s Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) unit around 9pm on Thursday. Later BGB handed them over to Benapole port police station where two NGOs - Rights Jessore, and Justice & Care- took the responsibility of the returned women and children. It has been known that these women went to India through different border points with the assistance of middlemen in search of better jobs. An NGO, Rescue Foundation, freed them from detention centre and took them into its guardianship.
