The deceased is Badsha, a resident of Telkupi village under Shahabazpur union in the upazila. "The reason could not be known why he entered the Indian territory," he said. The body is still inside the Indian border under the BSF custody, he added. "We are yet to identify whether the deceased is a Bangladeshi or not as the body is now in Indian territory," he said. Earlier on August 16, BSF shot another Bangladeshi dead near Shingnagar border in Shibganj upazila of the district.
